Offered in this lot we have a collection of three covered jars carved from dendritic talc. The first of the pieces shows a yellow base color with black and light orange inclusions. It is made with a shallow arch and a curving pattern across the bottom and what looks like a wheel towards the back. The bottom is marked reading "18 FL" indicating it was made by Montana sculptor Dick Flagen. The next jar is made in a simple oval design with a pink or light purple color and lighter spots. It is marked "R J" across the bottom indicating it was made by Roy Jones. The final piece shows a smooth cylindrical design with a green base and darker inclusions across the jar. It is also marked "R J". The collection shows good condition overall with no signs of damage. The first jar measures 6 1/4" long by 2" wide and 4" tall with the lid, the second measures 3 1/4" long by 2 1/4" wide by 2 1/2" tall, and the final piece measures2 1/2" in diameter by 3" tall.
