Featured in this lot we have a collection of five silver rodeo belt buckles originating from the 1970's. The collection consists of two silver plate, two German silver, and one nickel silver buckle. Each of the buckles show bronze or brass accents across the face of the buckle. It's marked across the back reading "Sunset Trails Silver plate". The second buckle shows silver plate construction and shows a cowboy getting ready to rope a steer and is marked across the face "YRA 1976". The back is marked "Donated By Winnett Roping Club Sunset Trails Silver Plate". The next buckle shows a cowboy on horseback with no engravings in the brass. The back is marked "Irvine & German Silver Jachens Inc.". The fourth piece shows German silver with a bronze sheep bordered by "3" and "w". The back is marked "comstock German Silver Silversmiths". The final piece shows nickel silver construction with a bronze cowboy wrestling a cow to the ground with unmarked scroll work. The back of the buckle is marked "Nickel Silver". The collection shows good condition overall with some wear and patina due to age. The largest buckle measures 3 1/2" wide by 2 3/4" tall.
