Included in this lot is a collection of four early 1900's large coffee tins. This collection includes Nash's, Bluhill, Foley's, and Caswell. The Nash's Coffee tin has a net weight of five pounds and shows a gold and red painted label. The label on the side states, "Net Weight Five Pounds. Guaranteed Toasted and Packed by Nash Coffee Co. Minneapolis. Copyright 1921". The second tin is a Bluhill Coffee tin. This tin holds five pounds of coffee. The label on this tin shows a sky blue painted label that says, "Bluhill Coffee. The cup that cheers." On the side of the label it states, "Ever try Bluhill Peanut Butter or Bluhill Cheese." This tin was made by Martin Bros, Co. Manufacturer in Denver, Colorado. The third tin is of Foley's Coffee. This tin holds 3 pounds of coffee and shows a painted cream color tin with a green and yellow label. The label reads, "Net Weight 3 Pounds. Foley's Steel Cut Coffee. Roasted and Packed by Foley Bros, Grocery Co. Established 1855. Saint Paul, Minnesota. Williston, N.D. Billings, Mont." On the back of the tin is a green label that says, "When Empty Use This Can For Sugar". The last tin is of Caswell Blend Coffee. This tin shows a cream and brown color label with three orange flowers. The Caswell tin is three pounds net weight and the label states it was "Roast, Ground and Packed Daily by the Geo. W. Caswell CO. San Francisco, U.S.A." On the label there are directions on how to make the coffee and the guarantee from the company, which is "Every package of this coffee carries with it our guarantee that it is a blend of high grade selected coffees and if properly made will produce a cup of coffee unequaled in flavor and strength." All of the tins are in good condition, with some normal scratches and wear from its age. The Nash's tin measures 7 3/4" x 7 1/2" x 7 1/2". The Bluhill tin measures 10 1/2" x 7" x 7". The Foley's tin measures 8 1/4" x 6 1/4" x 6 1/4". The Caswell tin measures 8 3/4" x 5 1/4" x 5 1/4".
