Featured in this lot we have a collection of Montana brass and silver belt buckles. The collection consists of seven buckles, three buckles for Montana Cities, three from Montana silversmiths, and one titled The cowboy. The three city buckles are marked "Montana Red Lodge", "1882 - 1982 Billings Montana", and "Montana 1889 - 1989 Park City". The Silversmith buckles show intricate carved designs with the first showing a ornate 'J' at the center and marked "Montana Silversmiths Silver Plate Columbus Mont", the second showing a brass figure roping a calf with a brass border, and the final buckle shows a beaver in either gold or brass and comes with the original box. The last of the buckles is made of solid brass and reads "Montana The Cowboy" and shows the image of a figure sitting on a grassy hill with a horse behind him looking over a pasture. The cowboy buckle comes with a leather pouch. The collection shows good condition overall with some wear and patina. The largest buckle measures 4 3/4" wide by 3 1/2" tall.
