For your consideration is this FINE collection of St. Charles Dovetail spear points circa 10000 - 8000 B.P. This collection shows three lovely examples of St. Charles Dovetail spear points. St. Charles points are originally attributed to the Late Archaic to Early woodland point. Each of these points show serrated edges with medium corner notched ends and originate primarily from the Tennessee River Valley and also referred to as "Pelvna Points." The ancient points are expertly constructed from a fine churt material and is in very well-preserved excellent museum quality condition showing a speckled red and brown; yellowing white, and streaking tan and red coloration (from left to right). The collection is shown in an expertly crafted quarter sawn oak professional display The points show pristine condition, well preserved construction with fantastic craftsmanship. The measurements of the display case 2" x 6" x 9" and measurements of each point 3" x 1 1/4"; and 2 3/4" x 1 1/2"; and 2 1/2" x 1 1/4".
