Included in this lot are two Fred Harvey and one Maisel cuffs, circa 1930. Fred Harvey jewelry was made for the Anglo tourist along the Santa Fe railroad lines, in hotels and retail shops run primarily by the Fred Harvey Company. Harvey hired Navajo silversmiths to create decorative, symbolized jewelry for the tourist trade. Fred Harvey era jewelry is widely collected and sought after. It is easy to wear and generally has a fair amount of ornamentation and stamping. The Maisel's Indian Trading Post was a shop located in Albuquerque, New Mexico from 1923-1960's. Only one of the cuffs is stamped with the Maisel Indian Trading Post hallmark and is from the 1940's-1950's. All three pieces are set with turquoise stones and have stamp work in the sterling silver bands. These pieces are in good condition, showing some natural patina from their age. The Maisel piece measures 5" on the inside cuff, while the other two pieces measure 4" on the inside cuff.
