Featured in this lot is a Colt New Army model double action revolver chambered in .38 special. The piece features a blue'd steel 6" barrel, frame, and six-shot cylinder. The left side of the barrel is marked "Colt. D.A. 38" and the top of the barrel marked "Colt's PT. F. A. MFG. Co. Hartford CT. U.S.A. Patented Aug. 5. 1884. Nov. 6.88 Mar.5.95". The revolver has the original factory grips showing the Colt emblem on each side and the rearing horse emblem on the left side of the frame. The frame is marked "309” across the cylinder arm and release. The revolver shows good condition, overall. Serial Number: 222172.
