The pistol displays a 3 1/2" long round barrel, engraved five shot cylinder, walnut grips, brass trigger guard, and hammer system. The revolver is marked in numerous spots with period correct roll stamping, reading: "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. Co. - HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A." on the top of the barrel, two line patent dates on the left side of the frame, reading "-PAT. JULY. 25. 1871-" over "-PAT.
