Included in this lot is a Colt Model 1851 Navy revolver imported by Hawes Firearms Co., Los Angeles, CA. This is a modern replica of the famous Colt Model 1851. This Italian reproduction features a wonderful case hardened receiver and trigger with blue'd percussion cylinder. The 7 1/2" octagonal barrel shows import stamps and is marked on the left "Hawes Firearm Co. Los Angeles Calif." and on the right "36 Cal. Navy Revolver - made in Italy." The brass frame shows a mild yellow patina and houses nice walnut grip panels. Serial Number: 21264. This firearm qualifies as an Antique and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
