Featured in this lot we have a Colt model 1877 thunderer 41 double action revolver chambered in .41 caliber. This revolver was manufactured by Colt in 1898. It displays a 4 1/2" long round barrel, hard rubber grips, six shot cylinder, ejector rod, and double action trigger system. The pistol shows a blue'd finish across the barrel, cylinder, trigger, and trigger guard with the frame showing a case hardened finish. The top of the barrel is marked "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO HARTFORD. CT. U.S.A." with the left side reading "COLT. D.A. 41". The left side of the frame is marked with patent dates and the Colt logo. Mechanically the revolver shows wonderful timing and crisp trigger. The revolver shows good condition overall with light wear due to age and handling. It weighs 1lbs 8oz. Serial Number: 107876. This firearm qualifies as an Antique, and does not require FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
