Featured in this lot we have a Colt Police Positive double action revolver chambered in .38 special caliber. This revolver was manufactured by Colt in 1922. This revolver features a 6" long round barrel, six shot cylinder, hard rubber grips, double action trigger, and blue'd finish. The pistol features original checkered hard rubber COLT factory grips. The top of the barrel is marked "Colt"s PT F.A. MFG Co. Hartford CT. U.S.A. Pat'd Aug 5. 1884. June 5. 1900. July 4. 1905.", with the left side of the barrel marked "Police Positive 38 SPECIAL". The cylinder release displays a checkered pattern design. This revolver shows good condition, with wear and handling marks from use. The mechanics function smoothly and are tight. The revolver weighs 1lbs 6oz. Serial Number: 186607. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic firearm, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
