Featured in this lot we have a Colt Single Action Army Second Model 1873 revolver chambered in .45 caliber. This pistol was manufactured in 1973 by Colt. The revolver displays a 7 1/4" long round barrel, six shot cylinder, case hardened frame, and checkered rubber grips. The barrel is marked across the side reading "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" with the top marked "COLT'S PT. F.A. M.F.G. Co. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." with the frame showing patent dates. The frame displays a case hardened finish and blue'd finish across the cylinder, barrel, trigger guard, and back strap. The grips display a checkered pattern with a colt medallion design on each side along with the American eagle great seal with "E Pluribus Unum" on the scroll. Mechanically the piece shows a crisp trigger and well timed cylinder rotation. The pistol shows good condition overall with minor wear across the exterior and finish. The revolver weighs 2lbs 4oz. Serial Number: 66350SA.
