The pistol is a double action revolver and was designed as a replacement for the baby dragoon. The revolver is marked across the top of the barrel, reading "Cooper Firearms MFG. Co. Frankford Phila PA. Pat Jan 7. 1851. Apr 25. 1854. Sep 4. 1860. Sep 1. 1863 Sep 28. 1863". The piece displays walnut grips and brass back strap. The piece comes with a leather holster. The revolver shows good condition overall, with a working action and light pitting. Serial Number: 8935.
