Featured in this lot is this Coshocton Anzick Clovis Point from the Paleo Period and aged from 15,000-10,000 B.P. This is a large triangular point with elliptical cross section and an excurvate blade with the tip curving to become almost parallel. It is knapped from flint material. The condition of this point is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this point are 7 1/4" x 2". Provenance: This flint blade is one of seven blades in Morrow Co., Ohio. It passed hands to the private collection of Richard Kiess (1922-1972) and was featured in Old Barn Auction and sold to a private collector, J. Parker.
