Included in this lot we have a Cow Chow Purina brass hanging milk scale. The scale was manufactured by Purina Mills in the early 20th century. The scale is made of iron with a brass plate across the front. The brass plate is marked reading "Cow Chow Makes more milk at less cost - Spring Balance to weigh 30 LBS Warranted - Don't Guess- Use This Purina milk scale". The plate shows the Purina checkered pattern across the top and bottom of the scale. The scale shows a hanging ring at the top and a hook at the bottom. The piece is in good condition overall with some rusting on the metal and some wear across the face. The scale measures 16" long by 4 1/2" wide.
