Featured in this lot is this pair of late 1900's silver embossed overlay jingle bob spurs. This is a good pair of modern spurs, showing solid steel construction with embossed plates of silver along the outside of each spur. In fact, long ago cowboys were known to have fastened small pear-shaped pendants to the axle of the spur rowel, calling them “jingle-bobs" and using the noise as an added tool in giving direction to the horse. The condition of this pair of spurs is good, with no obvious signs of damage and some wear consistent with use. The measurements of this pair of spurs are 6 1/4" x 4 1/2" x 2 1/4".
