Offered in this lot is a set of Coyote and Fox hide Spirit Shield Mandelas. Spirit shield/Mandelas are made with natural Coyote and Fox head pelts as the center focal point. On the larger of the two Spirit Shields, the Coyote hide is attached with rawhide strips to a circular frame that has also been wrapped in rabbit fur and Coyote hide. The Mandela includes tail fur tassels and beads hanging from antler disk buttons. The smaller dream catcher features a fox in white phase. The fox hide is on soft buckskin accented with four Turkey feathers and beads. The hoop is wrapped in buckskin. Hanging from the bottom are three white phase fox tails. The Fox spirit shield has a tag on it that reads "Authentic American Indian Handmade item. This item was handmade by American Indians using natural materials and traditional methods. From Ms Squaw, Tribal Roll 00135 Western Shoshone." These Spirit Shields would be an excellent addition for your southwest decor. The Mandelas are in good condition. The Mandelas measures 17" to 15" and 12" diameter.
