For your consideration in this lot we have a Cram's 16 inch illuminated political terrestrial globe on a dark hardwood stand - originating from circa 1980. The George F. Cram Company , know mostly just as "Cram's" was one of the most prominent map and globe manufacturers from the late 1800's to the early 2000's, and have as of 2012 stopped all production. This map features 12 panels printed with Continents, countries, seas, currents, and travel routes. The base is caped on its four legs with a metal ends that have a brass finish and a plaque that reads "35 Years Service". The globe is in very good condition with no tears, stains, or discoloration. Overall the base is in good condition, but does show some wear and scuff marks. As whole the piece measures around 40" tall by 25 1/4 at the base, and the globe has a 16" diameter.
