The plate shows a train raid scene of the Sioux Native American Indians attacking a US transcontinental railroad train. The scene is based on a famous novel by renowned Jules Vernes, Around the World in 80 Days - Which translates to "Le Tour Du Monde En 80 Jours" which the plate is labeled with. Additionally, the plate is decorated with an ornate border, showing a gorgeous floral motif, and accented with bobcat heads, encircled with birds, and lizards. The plate is marked on the back "B&Cie - Depose - Creil Et Montereau". The plate shows good condition overall. The plate measures 8" across.
