For your consideration is this Crockett Renalde bit and horse resin rosette studded headstall from the mid 1900's. This is a great example and well preserved western bit and headstall with original rein chains and the bit shows a well crafted curb bit with a cricket attached. The Crockett Bit & Spur Co. was purchased by James Renalde, known as Crockett Renalde. The condition of this headstall and bit are good with a great patina and wear marks to the headstall that give it a gorgeous worn in feeling and everything is in good working condition. The measurements of this headstall and bit are 39" from crown piece to rein chains and the bit measures 9" x 6 1/4" x 2 3/4".
