The lot features an excellent Plateau Crow Apsaalooke Native American Indian dress dating to circa 1900. The Montana Crow dress shows a trade wool and trade clothe construction with trade silk / satin ribbon adornment along with 131 Elk Ivory Molar Teeth (some are finely crafted carve bone made to imitate the Elk Teeth). The dress shows an approximate size 14-16. The Elk teeth are sewn to the dress with sinew and display wonderfully. The dress overall is in very good condition and is turly a wonderful representation of Crow Women's Dresses of the late Indian Wars early Reservation period. Measures overall __.
