The lot contains a set of wonderfully floral beaded hide gauntlet gloves from the Crow Native American Indians and dating to circa 1900's. The gloves show an Indian tanned hide construciotn with long fringe on the outside edge and a floral trade calico clothe cotton lining. The beadwork shows two prominent flowers with three leaves at the base done in glass trade seed beads having an iridescent semi-transparent design in reds, pinks, and greens. The gloves show good condition and are from a large Western and American Indian collection in Utah. Each measures 12.5"L x 12"W with fringe.
