Included for your consideration in this lot is a pair of Crow Native American Indian, beaded leather gauntlets, or gloves. The gloves are constructed of tanned leather hide, and show a decorative trade cloth interior. The gauntlets of the gloves show a trade bead image of a deer in a forest using, green, blue, amber and black trade beads. The gauntlets are additionally decorated with medium cut tanned hide fringe, draping off of the outsides of the gauntlets. The gloves originate from the Crow Indians during the 19th century. The gloves shows good condition for age, but display some scattered holes in the fingers of the right hand glove. Each glove measures 11.5" from wrist to finger tip, and 7" wide at the opening of the gloves.
