This is an excellent, handwoven flat weave rug by master weaver Tito Gutierrez. It was made using 100% soft, fine handspun yarns in a beautiful St. Andrew’s Cross pattern. The rug was handwoven with a tight weave using 100% handspun wool yarns that offer natural variegation and durability with color fast aniline dyes. The tight, handwoven weave displays bright, rich tones in the fine St. Andrew’s Cross pattern in the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Tito Gutierrez. The rug shows a phenomenal, Navajo-like, Crystal Eye Dazzler pattern of the historic Trading Post days, with modern contemporary detail showing an unbelievable, very highly detailed design with radiating stepped storm symbols in colors of tan, brown, heathered grey, orange, yellow, and medium grey. This is such a beautiful, highly designed one-off rug with a fine, tight weave. The piece is brand new, in pristine condition. The rug measures 4’ by 5’ (4 foot by 5 foot). This is a brand new rug.
