Included in this lot is a framed print of "Custer's Last Fight" by Anheuser-Busch. This piece was originally painted by Cassilly Adams in 1884 and prepared for chromolithograph by F. Otto Becker. It was subsequently used as advertising by Anheuser Busch. The print shows an animated scene of the Battle of the Little Bighorn, where General George Armstrong Custer and his men were killed by Lakota, Northern Cheyenne, and Arapaho Indians on June 26, 1876. The piece shows the army being overtaken by the Indians with Custer in the center, a sword raised above his head and his pistol in hand. The piece is set into a cardboard frame designed to look like wood. The bottom of the frame shows a plaque design, reading "Custer's Last Fight Presented by Anheuser-Busch. In., St. Louis, MO Budweiser King Of Beer". The sign shows good condition overall, with some wear across the piece. The frame measures 41 3/4" wide by 28 1/2" tall.
