For your consideration are two original Dau-Law-Taine Kiowa paintings in custom frames, copyright 2021. Darwin Tsoodle Kiowa (Dau-Law-Taine) is a Native American artist who was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma and is known for his depictions of Native American Braves on horseback. The first painting depicts a black appaloosa war horse with white circular spots, ridden by a brave. The turquoise "dressings" the horse is wearing is accented by the turquoise sunset sky. The second painting is a very similar brave, perhaps the same one. This painting shows the brave on foot, carrying a war shield, and in a red robe in front of a red sunrise. Both paintings display wonderful attention to detail and wonderful use of color and excellent style. Both pieces are signed in the bottom right-hand corner, reading "Dau-Law-Taine Kiowa copyright 2021”. Both pieces are displayed in frames painted by the artist to complement the work. The artwork is in pristine condition, with no obvious signs of damage. Both pieces measure 10 1/4" by 8 1/4" including the frames.
