Included in this lot is an original Dau-Law-Taine Kiowa painting on canvas, 2020. Darwin Tsoodle Kiowa (Dau-Law-Taine) is a Native American artist who was born in Anadarko, Oklahoma and is known for his depictions of Native American Braves on horseback. This painting is of a man painted black, white, and blue with a bandana over his face and a ceremonial cover on top of his head; the man is holding two black dancing wands and sporting tassels attached to his arms with feathers attached. The background displays a light blue at the top leading to a pink and yellow and shows the ground decorated as hilly in nature. The piece is signed in the bottom right hand corner, reading "Dau-Law-Taine Kiowa Copyright 2020". The condition of this painting is pristine, with no obvious signs of damage. This piece measures 11 1/2" by 15 1/4".
