The lithograph features a windy scene on a lake with canvasback ducks drifting in the wind with reeds shown behind them. David Maass is known for Wildlife-waterfowl, illustrator. David Maass, essentially a self-taught wildlife illustrator, was born on November 27, 1929 in Rochester, Minnesota. As a youngster he rescued wounded birds and raised pigeons in his home. The condition of this framed lithograph is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this framed lithograph is 13 1/4" x 17" and the visible art measures 7 5/8" x 11 1/2".
