Featured in this lot is this acrylic painting called "Casting Upstream," by David Ruimveld. The painting features a wonderfully and professionally crafted acrylic construction that features a fisherman in a stream with his line cast overhead and shows a mixed media cut out of the fish that are underwater. The artist signature can be seen in the bottom right hand corner of the artwork and hand written in the bottom left with a numbering of 61/500 and shows a tied fly centered in the artwork at the bottom and cut out of the border. David Ruimveld has been the featured artist of the Ruffed Grouse Society and has worked with many other conservation programs to raise funds for the cause. His art and illustrations can be found in several books, many galleries, fly fishing lodges, and private collections from Alaska to Belize. The condition of this framed acrylic painting is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this framed acrylic painting are 14 1/8" x 24 1/4" and the visible art measures 7" x 18".
