Featured in this lot is Deer Lodge, MT horse hair hitched bridle, circa 1900-1940s. The bridle features a wonderfully and professionally crafted hitched horse construction with hitched horsehair / horse hair covering the entirety of the bridle and shows matching reins, and all connection points show fully hitch construction. The brow bands (and entire piece) show a scarcely seen pattern. The headstall features geometric patterns hitched into the headstall along the cheek straps and the brow band and the crown piece and shows tassels ended in Turks head knots throughout the headstall. All natural hand dyed horse hair. The condition of this of this hitched horsehair bridle set is good with some dirt wear from age and use but otherwise shows good overall condition. The measurements of this headstall are 36 1/2" x 5" x 7 1/2".*
