Offered for your bidding pleasure is this early Blue Sponge Ware Butter Crock from Deer Lodge, Montana circa 1920s - 1930's. This butter crock features a rare blue sponge ware coloration. The lid boasts a unique shape which allows other crocks like these to sit securely on top. This item shows good condition with no cracks or glaze chips. The crock measures 7" tall and 6 1/2" in diameter.
