This is an outstanding Oscar Friedman designer custom ring with natural blue sapphires set around the entire ring and rare natural fancy yellow diamonds set at the center, all in fine solid 18K Gold with AIG paperwork. The ring features an electronically tested 18k white gold ladies ring with a wonderful under gallery and an 'Oscar Friedman' hallmark with an '18k' stamp next to the hallmark. The ring features a center stone of bezel set, oval shaped, very light-yellow diamond with measurements of 5.10mm x 3.70mm x 2.33mm, an approximate weight of 0.36 carats, and SI-1 clarity. The center stone is decorated with 16 prong-set, round brilliant, fancy yellow diamonds that measure 1.30mm to 1.20mm x 0.75mm and have a total weight of 0.12 carats, a clarity of SI-2 to I-2, and fancy yellow coloration. Uniquely, the whole outside and arched lattice is profusely decorated with a total of 105 set round brilliant mixed cut natural blue sapphires that measures 2.80mm to 2.70mm x 1.79mm and have a total weight of 11.11 carats, a slightly included clarity, and very slightly grayish blue coloration; it is considered type II dark. The sapphire count is approximate and transmits light with no distortion. The piece comes complete with AIG (American International Gemologists, a GIA certified lab AIG Appraisal Number#: 000721320014) report and appraisal, confirming the above info and giving a total value of $10,440.00. The ring size is US 6 1/2.
