This is an excellent handwoven flat weave rug by master weaver Alicia Gutierrez using 100% soft fine Churro Wool yarns in an outstanding Diamonds Aqua pattern. Churro wool is a time-tested fiber that is both strong and soft along with providing a vibrant base for rich colors from color fast Aniline Dyes. Tight handwoven weave showing bright rich colors in the bold southwestern Diamonds Aqua pattern in the time-honored Zapotec multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Alicia Gutierrez. This bold example shows a linear design with colors of rich blues, turquoise, greens, heathered greys, grey / blue and white / light blue accented further by stripes holding various alternating color diamond stepped patterns all in a beautiful southwestern styling. The piece is in brand new condition with fine tight weave. The rug measures 2’ 6” by 5’ (2 foot 6 inches by five foot).
