Featured in this lot is this Dickson contracting stem point aged from the Early Woodland period and from 3,000 - 1,300 B.P. The point features a large contracting stemmed triangular point with a flattened cross section, the blade is straight blade that is slightly serrated. The point was knapped from a off white cream chert material. The condition of this point is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this point are 4 1/4" x 2 1/2" x 3/8". This point was taken from Tennessee.
