Included in this lot is a red lens Dietz Vulcan railroad lantern. This lantern is marked "Dietz No. 39 Vulcan, New York U.S.A." The red glass globe is marked "N.P.R.R." for Northern Pacific Rail Road. This piece was made in the early 1900's. It is in good condition for its age, with some natural scratches and marks on the crown. Without the handle, this piece measures 9 1/2" tall and 15 1/2" tall with the handle and 7" wide.
