The “Discovery of the Yosemite and the Indian War of 1815 Which Led to the Event” contains the stories around and leading up to the discovery and exploration of what is now Yosemite National Park. The piece features numerous black and white illustrations throughout the book. The cover shows a red cloth construction with a gilt gold lettering across the front, reading "Discovery of the Yosemite L.H. Bunnell". The piece shows good condition overall, with some light wear. The book measures 8" tall by 5 3/4" wide by 1 1/2" thick.
