For your consideration is this beautiful, Navajo style sterling tubule & saucer necklace done by silversmith Don Lucas. Don Lucas trained himself silversmithing in the early 1970s. He began producing jewelry in Arizona before going to California to open his store and studio. Don Lucas began making southwestern jewelry using a vast collection of Navajo silver stamps, which he uses to stamp unique patterns on the majority of the items. This necklace features a various shapes of sterling such as saucers, cylinders, squares, spheres and rectangles. It is stamped with a hallmark on the clasp reading, "Sterling / D. Lucas". The piece shows good condition overall with slight wear present from its use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. Light patina present on some of the sterling shapes. It measures a length of 28 1/4" from clasp to clasp, a width of 1 1/4" and a depth of 1 1/4". It has a total weight of 188.4 grams.
