Featured in this lot is a limited edition, fine pewter sculpture done by renowned sculptor Don Polland titled "Barrel Racer" from 1978. This sculpture depicts a cowgirl in a barrel race just inches from the barrel on her horse. This sculpture sits on top of a solid wood base. On the front of the sculpture it is marked with the title "Barrel Racer" and is marked number "199/2,500" showing it is a limited edition. On the back of the sculpture it is marked with the sculptor's signature and is dated "Polland 1978". On the bottom of the wood base, it shows the title, the sculptors signature, that it is a limited edition piece of 2,500, the copy right date "1978", and the presenter "Chilmark Fine Pewter U.S.A.". Overall the piece is in good condition with no signs of damage. It measures 6 1/2" L x 5 " W x 5" H.
