Offered in this lot is a collection of brass items. The collection starts with a brass door knocker made in the shape of a spur, with the plate being a horseshoe and horned steer head. The knocker measures 5 1/2" long by 4" wide. The next two items are very unique bottle openers. The first bottle opener is shaped like a miniature Schlitz beer can with a hidden church key can opener. The church key hides inside the can until you press a button to pop it out. The can is marked 1954 Made in W. Germany. The can is 1 7/8" , with the opener extended it is 2 1/2". The next bottle opener is a traditional church key opener with the can and bottle end, that has a cast metal painted woman with her hands behind her head riveted to it. The woman has painted black hair and bikini top and painted red lips. Yellow fringe cording makes a "skirt" on the woman. This church key opener with the woman measures 4 3/4" long and 2" across from the womans elbows. The last item in this lot is a medallion from a horse harness This antique medallion shows a horses head wearing blinders in the center. Around the edge eof the medallion is stamped the words "Castle Combe". Castle Combe is a village within the Cotswolds Area. Castle Combe is known as a place of outstanding natural beauty in Wiltshire, England. A castle once stood in the area, from where the village takes its name, but was demolished centuries ago. The medallion is 3" across and 3 1/2" tall. These items are in good to fair condition.
