Featured in this lot is this Acoma pottery mug from artist Douglas Johnson born 1946 and circa 1990.The vessel shows wonderful geometric patterns in natural dyes painted with black coloration and red coloration and an olla pottery vessel design. The condition of this mug is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this mug are 3" x 3 3/4" x 2 1/2". Provenance: From the renowned Sundog Fine Art Bozeman, Montana collection and collected by Bruce VanLandingham. Bruce VanLandingham was a pillar in the American Indian collecting community and a respected expert. Along with being an avid collector, Bruce also was the sole owner of Sundog Fine Art Gallery in Bozeman, which was both part museum and gallery. Truly an outstanding example. Identification#: E1091
