Featured in this lot is an Original "Drink Hires in Bottles Bracing Delicious" Single Sided Tin Embossed Metal Sign circa 1930s. Hires Root Beer was created by a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania pharmacist, Charles Elmer Hires. Introduced in 1876, it is the longest continuously made soft drink in the United States. This Hires single sided tin metal sign is in fair to good overall condition. The original vibrant glossy paint colors of yellow, red, and black are intact. Oxidation noted on face, corners to the face of the sign. The measurements of this sign are 9 3/4" x 27 1/2".*
