For bidding is a Dufresne & Company Chef's knife. Markings clearly show "La Trompette", "Dufresne & Co", "MFD.OR.E.U.1878.", and "France" This 140 year old blade has aged well and has developed a nice patina. Rosewood handle is in pristine condition, no visible cracks are present. Blade measures 12" Knife is 17" overall.
