For your consideration is this beautiful, E. Howard Watch Company model 1907, Series 10 pocket watch with a 14K gold fill Keystone Extra case from the mid 1910s. The E. Howard Watch Co. (Keystone era) operated from 1902 to 1930 in Waltham, Massachusetts, after the Keystone Watch Case Company purchased the rights to the prestigious "Howard" name. These high-quality watches, often termed "Keystone Howards," were manufactured in a former U.S. Watch Co. factory, separate from the original E. Howard & Co. (1858–1903). The watch features a white face with with black numbers and three hands, an hour, minute and second hand. This pocket watch has serial number of "1309162" on the movement showing it was made around 1916. It is a grade - Series 10, model 1907, size 16s, 21 burnished jewels and features an open face movement configuration finished in nickel in a parallel pattern. The movement setting is a lever, showing a center bridge plate and is fitted with a double roller. It has five adjusted positions, is railroad graded and is in good, working order. It is set in a Keystone Extra, 14k gold fill case and is marked reading, "Howard Watch Co. Boston / Keystone Extra / 1039969". The Keystone logo helps determine the time of the case and what it was constructed of.
