Offered in this lot is a collection of three early 1900's Carnival Canes with ceramic heads. County fairs and the carnivals were an important part of early 1900's American life. One of the favorite prizes to win was the carnival cane. The brightly painted dowels were topped with a ceramic figurine head. The early carnival canes toppers were German made. These three canes have porcelain heads. The first head is of an elephant, the next is dice, and the last is a baseball. These carnival canes measure 35" and are in good structure condition with light cosmetic wear from age and use.
