The piece shows a print of a peaceful creek traveling past a hillside titled "Sweet Hour of Peace". Below the art the poster is marked "Cartwright Mercantile Co. General Merchandise, Hardware, and Meats - Cartwright North Dakota". At the bottom of the poster is a unused tear away calendar with the front cover reading "Seasons Greetings Calendar for the New Year" with the image of a angelic figure at the center of the cover. The poster is set into a black painted wood frame with a black border around the poster. The piece shows good condition with some minor wear on the poster.
