Included in this lot we have a genuine leather doctors medical bag originating from the early 1900's The bag displays genuine leather construction with brass hardware. The top of the bag shows a leather carry handle with brass locking pieces. The purpose of the doctors bag or also known as a medical bag was to transport medical supplies and medicine. The doctors bag was invented by Clifford Allbutt in 1866. The interior of the bag displays a grey leather lining with a single side pocket. The piece shows good condition overall for its age. The doctors bag measures 18" long by 10 1/2" wide and 13" tall.
