Available in this lot is a metal hand crank butter churn originating from the early 1900's. This butter churn displays a metal construction with a metal crank, a wood top, and a wooden agitator. This lot also includes a butter shaper. The hand crank operates by threading the crank to the top of the respective jar and by simply cranking the hardwood handle to spin the wooden paddles inside. The churn is free of maker’s marks and writing. The piece shows good condition overall, with some wear and patina across the piece. The butter churn measures 20 3/4" tall, with the base measuring 11" wide by 16 3/4" long.
