Featured in this lot we have a Masai Afircan beaded leather water jug canteen originating from the 1920's to 1930's. This water canteen features a gourd construction with leather carry straps and beaded accents. The cap shows a gourd construction with a lower leather strip and beadwork across the side. The leather carry strap shows beaded stripes in red, white, blue, orange, and yellow beads. The piece shows good condition overall with some wear due to use and age. The water canteen measures 14 1/2" long with a diameter of 13 1/2".
