Featured in this lot is a Railway Express Agency shipping lock box originating from the early 20th century. The piece shows galvanized steel construction with a carry handle across the top and a latch on the front. The crate shows five original mailing/shipping tags for Paramount Pictures dist. corp. from Billings and Butte in 1936. The tags are in good shape for their age. The interior of the piece shows a rust red interior with a tag reading, "Crest Theatre Delta Utah Peter Sampson Operator ~ Ass't Operator Date Jan 19, 1935". The piece shows good condition overall and some wear due to age and use. The box measures 11 3/4" wide by 11 3/4" deep and 11 1/4" tall.
