For your consideration is this vintage leather saddle bag made by D. L. Williams in Ord, Nebraska from the early 1900s. The bags show good craftsmanship with the exterior covered in pressed and tooled patterns. The saddle bag is made of a black leather and steel hard wear. The piece shows a clean design with one large bag on either side and an adjustable fastener to go around the bottom. On each side it is marked and reads, "D. L. Williams Ord, Neb". The saddle bag shows fair condition with wear from use and age. There is slight cracking in the leather throughout and is missing a leather strap on one of the bags, but does not affect the integrity of the saddle bag. The bag measures 30 1/2" L x 7 1/4" w.
